ABOUT ME:

Besides selling PALFINGER products, I’m passionate about sports like football and I’m a Bayern Muenchen fan.

My leisure time are spent in social media and movies. I run several PALFINGER social media platforms, such as PALFINGER China @ FB, PALFINGER Nantong @ Wechat @ Youku. Posting those cool photos of PALFINGER products is very enjoyable for me and could spend hours of my spare time. My goal is to create a Fan club for PALFINGER in China as the one in Europe.

MY TASK AND MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

I’m responsible for the P&L of two PALFINGER entities with several million Euro sales and the product group of hookloaders and truck mounted forklifts in Asia. Additionally the area sourcing function together with global supply chain is another function that I’m running with the setup of China broker plant.

After a 3-year MBA program in Germany and 8 years of working as deputy General Manager and Commercial director for 2 German leading companies in their respective industries, I joined the world leader of truck mounted crane, PALFINGER. PALFINGER has offered me a dynamic and fast growing career path, starting from China business development manager for Palfinger Asia, Key Account Manager for Sany Palfinger, now to General Manager for two entities and area lead buyer.

 

THIS IS IMPORTANT IN MY JOB:

Inter-personal skills are important for selling solutions. At the end we are not only offering machineries, but also selling our services and mentality. Respect to people, no matter to customers or to co-workers brings back more than just supports. Try to behave and being yourself with always consideration on others, at the end of the day, it’s the people who will make decisions which brand to buy.

THE LOCATION RUDONG NANTONG:

Our plant and office is located in Rudong and surrounded by 90% Sany Palfinger employees, which is an additional and interesting cultural factor.

Our work place is cosy and warm, surrounded by plants and flowers, we sit closely and talk openly

 

MY BEST / PROUDEST MOMENTs AT PALFINGER:

  • Each time when I update our new order entries on our weekly Sales Hero Board
  • Each time I write emails to all employees whenever we reach 100/200/300/400/500… units sale
  • When I thank my employees for together achieving the turnaround of our entity PAS from loss to profitability within 2 years
  • I keep the best sale records for Palfinger knuckle boom crane sales when I worked for Sany Palfinger, still waiting for someone to break it

Funny story: In our sales organization, we have wechat groups and we name the sales guys with dynamic creature such as tiger, dragon and wolf. It fires the emotion of people for selling and fighting for deals
