Earth Hour wants to shine a light on why nature matters – or rather: to turn off the lights. PALFINGER is committed to this global “lights out” event and switched off the lights on March 30th.

Earth Hour is calling on individuals around the world to shine a light on why nature matters. It began as a single-city initiative in Sydney, Australia back in 2007 and has since grown into a global movement with hundreds of millions of people from more than 7,000 cities and towns in over 188 countries. #Connect2Earth

PALFINGER supports Earth Hour

PALFINGER joined millions of people across the globe in the “lights out” event. We turned off non-essential lights of our locations in 34 countries. For one hour on Saturday, March 30th we showed why nature matters

. Taking part in the global Earth Hour is demonstrating the commitment of PALFINGER to sustainability and is raising awareness for climate protection.

Our ecological responsibility doesn’t stop with this event. We acknowledge that our business activities have an impact on nature and have thus determined various material topics in regard to environment:

• Energy efficiency & climate protection
• Efficient use of raw materials
• Product life cycle
