Our 2018 integrated Annual Report (iAR) is a thing of beauty both in content and design – that is just what several awards confirmed by now. Let us have a quick look at this success:
First in line was the medal mania at the International ARC Awards 2019 in New York. A total of 11 medals were achieved, each five in gold and silver plus one in bronze. Aside from design criteria such as the cover, illustrations and info graphics the awards were also won due to the Chairman’s Letter and the integration of sustainability factors.
Moving on, there is the Building Public Trust Award by PwC focusing on the report content. This year the award also rewarded the best Austrian and Swiss reports thus making the PALFINGER one a pioneer. As the name already indicates it is about credibility and transparency in reporting. Beyond that, it also rewards the integration of “non-financial performance indicators” such as our environmental or diversity goals.
Since three is a magic number there is yet another award waiting to be proudly announced. It is the Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award (ASRA) by the Austrian Chamber of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers in cooperation with partners such as respACT (the Austrian Business Council for Sustainable Development). The ASRA is well-known at PALFINGER since it is not the first time we get it. In fact, it is the 10th time. This year the ASRA celebrated its 20th anniversary and thus decided to create a surprise category named “winner of the winners”. This one was awarded to us and honors our successful reporting throughout the past years until now.
Such a success works as an excellent motivation to make the upcoming 2019 integrated Annual Report a strong and honest depiction of PALFINGER yet again.
