Moving abroad with the whole family and facing a different culture and a new Job?

Job title: Quality Operations Excellence Manager
My tasks and professional career:
I joined PALFINGER almost 16 years ago as I started my professional career at the location Caxias do Sul, Brazil.
Today I am working as a Quality Operations Excellence Manager in Trenton, USA. I am responsible for the whole quality process, the improvement of production processes and the development of new shop floor layouts with the focus on lean manufacturing.
My undergraduate degree is Production Engineering and I graduated in Mechatronics. Before joining PALFINGER, I worked for a company that is owned by my family, in the area of manufacturing and maintenance of machines.
Why I chose PALFINGER as an employer:
PALFINGER started its activities in South America. When I got aware of a job opening, I saw it as a great opportunity to be a part of this family and to join a great company. I can identify myself with the company’s values a lot and I feel like employees are treated like a real family.
In Trenton the people are wonderful and very helpful. I love working here and I immediately felt welcomed by my co-workers. I love working with people and solving problems together in teams.
PALFINGER provides many opportunities to grow and learn. That challenges me to improve my performance every day which makes me very happy.
